Indiana University East is colloquially abbreviated to IUE. It is situated in Richmond, in Wayne Country, in India.
Indiana University East provides its students with the 54 programs at the levels of associate degree, bachelor degree and master degree. Forty-eight of those are offered by the Indiana University, six of them are offered by the Purdue University. Indiana University East is famous in terms of its nursing and medical-industry programs. Three schools and four divisions are building the organization of the Indiana University East.
Division of Behavioral & Social Sciences contains the Departments of Anthropology, Political Science, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology, and Human Services.
Division of Business & Economics contains the Departments of Finance/ Economics, Accounting, Management, MIS and Computer Science, Marketing.
Division of Humanities & Fine Arts contains the Departments of Communications, Fine Arts, English and Writing, Foreign Languages, Philosophy, History, Music, and Theater.
Division of Natural Science & Mathematics, contains the Departments of Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Biology, Mathematics, Physics.
The following schools serve within the walls of the Indiana University East: School of Nursing, School of Education, School of Continuing Studies. Indiana University East also hosts one of the branches of the Purdue University.
