Indiana University South Bend

Indiana University South Bend is considered to be the third largest campus within the System of Indiana Universities. It is well known as IU South Bend, or IUSB. It is situated in Saint Joseph Country, Indiana.

Indianan University is famous all over the world for its Alexander Toradze Piano Studio.

In 1916, Indiana University South Bend started to provide classes in the territory of South Bend as a part of the Indiana University Bloomington. In 1961, the building for the Indiana University South Bend was constructed on the north shore of the river of St. Joseph.

Nowadays, the Indiana University South Bend consists of the twelve buildings. Some years ago, Student Activity Center for volleyball, basketball, racquetball courts, and for fitness was build. It also includes a walking track, a wellness center, a student lounge, café, and office for students’ activity.

In 2006, the trustees decided to improve the building of Indiana University South Bend and in August 2007, the construction was completed.

The following schools and divisions are presented within the curriculum of the Indiana University South Bend: School of Social Work, School of Public and Environmental Affairs, School of Educating, School of Business and Economics, Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Division of Extended Learning Services, Division of Nursing and Health Professions, Division of labor Studies.
